The Deutsche Kolonien und Auslandpostämpter Stempelkatalog (also known by its German acronym ARGE) is a philatelic reference which describes and publishes values for the postal markings found on the stamps of the German colonies and German post offices abroad.

The catalog started out as a price list for the dealer Hugo Michel of Apolda.By 1920 it was split into two volumes, for "Europe" and "overseas", and eventually grew to a present-day size of about a dozen volumes covering the entire world, with additional specialized volumes bringing the total to some forty catalogs.
Initially, regular Imperial stamps from the mainland were used, and only their cancellation marks would reveal their colonial usage; later, the names of the individual colonies were overprinted upon the regular stamps before sale. In 1900, a new stamp design was released for universal use in all the colonies.
With the creation of two German states, mail between the two was handled according to the regulations of the UPU. According to the Scott catalog, during the next 41 years the DP issued more stamps than any other postal authority in Germany - 2,802 different stamps including many commemoratives, plus 191 semi-postal designs, and 16 air mail stamps.
Scans from Dr. Meng's collection began appearing in volume 4 of the 2002 catalog. Together with generous access by many other collectors, Meng's cooperation has resulted in creation of scanned images of all but about 1300 stamps by Scott as of 2024 catalogue series. About 120 are specialized stamps from the US Specialized Catalogue.
