Black Lizard (黒蜥蝪, Kurotokage) is a 1968 Japanese film directed by Kinji Fukasaku. The film is based on a play by Yukio Mishima which in turn is based on a novel by Rampo Edogawa . [ 1 ] The play had previously been adapted to film in 1962 by director Umetsugu Inoue .
The Kill-Off is an American crime novel by Jim Thompson first published in 1957, and reprinted by Vintage Crime/Black Lizard in 1999. [3] Inju: The Beast in the Shadow premiered at the Venice Film Festival in August 2008, followed by the Toronto International Film Festival in September, 2008. The film was released in France on September 3, 2008.
