Sunrise Airways S.A. is a Haitian regional airline founded in 2010 that provides scheduled passenger and charter flights.As of January 2024, the airline flies to nine domestic and international destinations and has a fleet size of ten.

The airport is currently the busiest in Haiti and is an operating hub for Sunrise Airways.
The airspace between Haiti and the Dominican Republic is still closed. The Bahamas suspended flights into the country. The only direct service to the U.S. currently is via Haiti-owned Sunrise Airways.

Both runway ends have displaced thresholds.
Air Haiti SA was formed in December 1969 following the award of a five-year foreign air carrier permit by the US Civil Aeronautics Administration [1] All-cargo scheduled services began in October 1970 between Port-au-Prince Airport, Isla Verde Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Miami International Airport.
