WEAA (88.9 FM) is a non-profit, NPR affiliate station that serves Baltimore, Maryland. It is licensed and owned by Morgan State University. WEAA is located on campus, with studios at the School of Global Journalism and Communication, and a transmitter on Hillen Road. WEAA was named 1999 Jazz Station of the Year by Gavin Magazine. [3]

On August 17, 2004, WXXY-FM changed formats once again, due to the station having financial difficulties. WXXY-FM went back to airing religious programming, using the moniker of "South Jersey's Gospel Music Station".
