Using "Amazon.com Store Card - Synchrony" just worked for me in Windows 10 version. I did NOT delete my existing Amazon card account from Quicken. After backing up my Quicken file, I just decided to leave my existing Amazon card account alone, and just ADD another account.
I have an Amazon Prime Store Card through Synchrony Bank. I received a physical card, however, the credit is only good on Amazon. I started with a $1,300 CL and after a little over a year, I have a $3,400 CL. The best feature of the card is I receive a 5% back as a store credit on everything I purchase.
Hello, I was preapproved for the Amazon Store card and applied. Here's the message/email I got: "Thank you for your interest in the Amazon Store Card. Synchrony Bank needs more information from you to make a decision. Please call Synchrony Bank at 855-296-6043 with this reference number ***** to provide that information and get a decision.

But not all Financial Institutions support the WC option and according to the FI List it appears that the Amazon card is one of those that does not support it. However, it might be worthwhile for you to log into your online Amazon card account to see if they permit downloading transactions in QFX (or "Quicken") format.

You should be able to see on the back of your credit card who the issuer of the card is.
When I had CareCredit (from Synchrony), their policy was to put a hold on payments over $500. At one point, I made a payment somewhere over $1,000. They told me that had I split it into several smaller payments, I wouldn't have had the hold. Of course, policies could be different from card to card. It wouldn't hurt to call and ask.
(Note that I have Quicken Windows subscription, fully updated): I was able to re-activate automatic downloads for my Synchrony Amazon store card by following these steps. ---- 1. While in your Amazon Store Card account, go to the settings turn wheel in the upper right hand corner and select "Edit Account Details. -2.
The Amazon card is a Synchrony card. One notice I got from JC Penney (another Synchrony card) a couple of weeks ago is that Synchrony is consolidating many of their cards into a single website which means they will likely be making the types of data being downloaded common among all the cards. Maybe that is what has happened with your cards.
