The Chambers County Courthouse is host to proceedings by the 5th Judicial Circuit Court, Chambers County District Court, and Chambers County Probate Court. The Circuit Court has jurisdiction over all felony prosecutions and in proceedings where the disputed amount is more than $10,000.

Commissioner Debra Riley represents District 6. She was elected to the Chambers County Commission in 2018. Commissioner Riley is a retired health educator with the Chambers County School System. She is a retired National Registered Paramedic and a Registered Nurse. She resides in Valley.
