Since a recent update (I presume), I haven't been able to launch or uninstall WhatsApp from my desktop. However, it will launch from a notification. I can see it in Settings/Apps and I tried a Reset. I got a tick but still can't launch. Subsequent resets have failed with a 'please try later message'.
The only way I can get it to launch is by going to task manager and finding whatsapp in the background processes, and then selecting it and clicking end task. After this, double-clicking the whatsapp shortcut launches whatsapp. Issue resolved with the App update with 2.2043.22.0.

Wait for few seconds while it is resetting the Store cache.

Facebook do not make a 32bit version of their WhatsApp app, the only version they make is a 64bit version of that app, so you would not be able to install the app from the Microsoft Store.
