Fish Tank is a 2009 British drama film written and directed by Andrea Arnold. The film is about Mia, a volatile and socially isolated 15-year-old, and her relationship with her mother's new boyfriend. Fish Tank was critically acclaimed and won the Jury Prize at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. [3] It also won the 2010 BAFTA for Best British Film.
A CD version was released in the United States in 1999. [8] De Konkurrent also reissued the record in 2014. Five editions of In the Fishtank 1 have been released in total, each with different cover art. The EP version of "The River" was later included on Nomeansno's retrospective album The People's Choice.

Kettle of Fish was Fish's first release under a new contract with Roadrunner Records, who signed Fish after the financially catastrophic Sunsets on Empire album and tour of 1997 had forced him to dissolve his own label Dick Brothers Record Company. (The Dick Bros. logo still appears on the back, but this appears to be strictly symbolic.)
