[4] Established in 2015, Elliott Hudson College is located in the White Rose Office Park. Upon opening, the sixth forms of The Morley Academy and The Farnley Academy were closed. The aim of the college has been to provide high quality academic A-level education to students of the Leeds and West Yorkshire area. [5]
The school became Notre Dame High School in 1978, a catholic comprehensive school for ages 13–19 with around 650 girls. [4] All the other Catholic direct grant schools in Leeds also changed this year. The sixth form college was formed in September 1989 as the sixth form centre for Catholic education in Leeds.
The school has 1,619 students as of November 2021 between the ages of 11 and 18, and 80 members of staff. The school was awarded Humanities College status in 2006. In August 2011 the school was changed into an Academy and is now known as 'Abbey Grange Church of England Academy'. The school was judged Good by Ofsted in 2017. [1]
The district will be the largest in Missouri to adopt a four-day week model, with no classes on Mondays.
Leeds West Academy was founded in September 2009, and replaced Intake High School which was on the same site and had the same head teacher. The academy moved into new buildings on the site in September 2011. [2] In 2019, the school formally closed its Sixth Form provision. [citation needed]
