Wildflowers is the second solo studio album by American musician Tom Petty, released on November 1, 1994, [1] by Warner Bros. Records. It was the first album released by Petty after signing a contract with Warner Bros., where he had recorded as part of the Traveling Wilburys. It was the first of three of his albums produced with Rick Rubin.
"Wildflowers" is a song written by Tom Petty and the opening track from the album of the same name. Some songs were originally recorded for Wildflowers and were put on this album after it was decided to make Wildflowers a single album instead of a double album. She's the One is the only Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers album not to feature an official drummer, as they had not yet found a permanent drummer following the departure of Stan Lynch.
