Arpico Super Centre also popularly simply known as Arpico is a chain of supermarkets which is also regarded as a departmental store located in Sri Lanka owned by Richard Pieris & Company. The retail shopping mall was initially started with the concept of supermarket and then transformed its business operations as a supercentre.
The complex was designed by Gemmu Fernando of the Design Group Five International (Pvt) Ltd [2] and constructed by Tudawe Brothers Limited. Construction of the three-storey 13,000 m 2 (140,000 sq ft) shopping complex, with 88 tenancies, developed around a central atrium was completed in 1991 and formally opened on 4 April.

It is located in Southgate (just west of Mondeor) and is one of the ten largest shopping centres in South Africa, [1] with over 160 commercial tenants. The centre has long served the nearby township of Soweto. It was opened in late 1990. [2]
