The 320s have the same profile and dimensions, but have a smoother finish, but with a fabric-like texture to provide a modicum of retention in use.

The Pachmayr is a bit more slick and in winter, I do carry my GP100 at times. The Hogues are a bit sticky with clothing. The Pachmayr still does a good job at ...
10153 posts · Joined 2009. #1 ·Nov 30, 2018. Hey there guys the Ruger GP100's I think they were Talo Exclusives there was 3 different Ruger GP100's a .327FM, .357Magnum , & .44 Special. All of these revolver's had a blued finish and 5 inch barrels and all of these had a Roper style of grips.
David, I have a Ruger GP100 Wiley Clapp II .357 magnum with a 3 inch barrel. I recently bought s set of the Ruger Compact grip that you can buy online at Shop Ruger. First off these smaller grips work great in taming the recoil of my .357 Magnum reloads!!!
My early generation GP100 sports an Uncle Mike’s rubber grips. I still have the original box the grips came with. On the box it mentioned the name Craig Spegel, who is a noted custom pistol grip designer. The rubber grips is an exact replica of the wood grips made by the famous maker.

I like the better control I get at the range with these longer grips. This is not to say that the compact grips don't feel good nor, work good too-but, I think that the extra leverage of the longer full ...
Got New GP100 Altamont Grips. I ordered a set of Altamont grips for my GP100 to change things up a bit. They came in a few days ago and I've been meaning to give a short review and share some pics. I got the "snakeskin" combo (black backstrap with the snakeskin pattern rosewood inserts.) Initially I was a little disappointed at first.
624 posts · Joined 2007. #28 · Jan 5, 2015. OEM Lett's Compact grips with wood/laminate insert are my first choice; alternatively, the OEM/Lett's Full-Sized grips with a wood/laminate insert. The Compact grip is a superb balance, providing an excellent grip at a minimal size; with it I can easily conceal my 4" GP100.
If firing full-house .357 magnum cartridges, either the Hogue Tamers or Ruger Compacts, in that order of preference.
