Rear view of 1989 Chrysler TC by Maserati. The TC featured a detachable hard top with circular, beveled-glass opera windows with a six-point latching system [8] [9] and a manually operated cloth lined convertible top that was available in either tan or black. For the 1989 model year, interior leather colors were ginger or bordeaux.
1978 Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country, rear view 1978 Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country interior. From 1978 through 1981, the Town & Country badge designated the simulated wood-trimmed wagon model of the mid-sized Chrysler LeBaron series, built on the Chrysler M platform, which included Plymouth Gran Fury, Dodge Diplomat, and Chrysler LeBaron.
In mid-1988, the Chrysler M-bodies received a driver side air bag. [4] After the M-bodies were discontinued in mid-1989, Chrysler Corporation didn't build a rear wheel drive car outside of trucks and specialty models until LX based cars. Vehicles on this platform include: 1977–1989 Dodge Diplomat; 1977–1981 Chrysler LeBaron
The Acclaim was a version of the Chrysler Corporation's AA-body 4-door sedan, which was an evolutionary development of Chrysler's extended K-car platform. Acclaim (and Dodge Spirit) production ended on December 9, 1994, after a short 1995 model year and the Cab-forward Plymouth Breeze was introduced as a replacement for 1996.
The Dodge Spirit is a midsize automobile marketed by Dodge from the 1989 to the 1995 model years. Deriving from and succeeding the Dodge Aries, Dodge Lancer, and Dodge 600, [1] [2] — Chrysler's original so called "K Cars" — the Spirit was marketed between the Shadow and the Dynasty within the Dodge product line, exclusively as a four-door notchback sedan over a single generation.
Chrysler of Canada replaced the Dodge 600 with the Dodge Spirit, with the Chrysler Dynasty replacing the Chrysler LeBaron GTS hatchback (and ultimately, the Dodge Diplomat, as the Dodge Monaco was not marketed in Canada). Within the model line, the Dynasty was slotted between the LeBaron sedan and the New Yorker.
