Albright's campus relocated from Myerstown, to Schuylkill College's campus, which is the present location of Albright, at the base of Mount Penn in Reading. Coaches of the MAC Northern College Division selected quarterback Gary Chapman as the most valuable player in the division. Chapman and three other Albright players received first-team honors on the 1961 MAC Southern College Division all-star team.
