The Olentangy Trail, also known as the Olentangy Greenway Trail is a 13.6-mile multi-use greenway trail in Columbus, Ohio, United States. [1] The route is along the banks of the Olentangy River.
It is the first such bike trail to have been built in Columbus. The trail connects Northbank Park to Bicentennial Park in downtown Columbus, forming part of the Scioto Mile, a string of prominent parks and landmarks. South of downtown, the path meanders through The Scioto Audubon Park and has a trailhead at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center.
By the end of 2022 the Ohio to Erie Trail will have over 90% dedicated bike trails and 3.6% streets and 5.9% rural roads. In 2017, Shelby Development, LLC purchased National Trail Raceway from the NHRA. The company also owns Heartland Motorsports Park in Kansas, which they acquired in 2015. [2] The following year, Jay Livingston became general manager and co-owner of the track. In 2019, Big Ambitions, LLC purchased the property from Shelby Development, LLC.
