Ultraman first released their own 7-inch EP (alternately called the Mr. Yuk 7 and self-titled) in 1988 after selling demo tapes for over a year.Their second 7-inch EP "Destroys All Monsters...Kills All Families" was recorded in May 1988, but not released until September of that year.
In 1976, Breslin and his collaborator Joel Axler opened the first Yuk Yuk's, in the basement of Toronto's 519 Church Street Community Centre. Two years later, Breslin and Axler opened Yuk Yuk's first permanent venue at 1280 Bay Street in the Yorkville district. Over the next few decades, Yuk Yuk expanded its presence nationally and internationally.
I think Mr. Ouch is notable because it's one of the few hazard symbols that has been designed specifically for children. Mr. Yuk is the only other one I'm aware of. Other more common hazard symbols (radioactive, biohazard, even many high-voltage icons) don't immediately convey danger to someone who hasn't been told what they mean.
