Stephen Sarkisian (/ s ɑːr ˈ k iː ʒ ə n /; born March 8, 1974) [2] is an American football coach and former player who is the head football coach at the University of Texas at Austin. He previously was the head football coach at the University of Washington from 2009 to 2013 and the University of Southern California (USC) from 2014 to 2015.
The team played its home games at Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas. Following a 5–7 season the previous year, the 2017 preseason involved a complete overhaul of the coaching staff for the Texas Longhorns football team.

The 2017 Texas A&M–Commerce Lions football team represented Texas A&M University–Commerce in the 2017 NCAA Division II football season.
