Lord Kenmare died in Killarney on 11 September 1795, and was succeeded by his son Valentine Browne (1754–1812), who maintained his father's political stance, and was created earl of Kenmare in 1801.
Highway 407 begins at the Highway 403/Queen Elizabeth Way junction in Burlington. Kenmare (Irish: Neidín, meaning 'the little nest') [8] [9] is a small town in the south of County Kerry, Ireland. The name Kenmare is the anglicised form of Ceann Mara, [8] meaning "head of the sea", referring to the head of Kenmare Bay. It is also a townland and civil parish. [9]
