Soul cakes eaten during Halloween, All Saints' Day, and All Souls' Day. A soul cake, also known as a soulmass-cake, is a small round cake with sweet spices, which resembles a shortbread biscuit. It is traditionally made for Halloween, All Saints' Day, and All Souls' Day to commemorate the dead in many Christian traditions.
The band was first officially billed as The Dead on February 14, 2003 at the Warfield in San Francisco. Later that year, the band opened up their summer tour (titled as "Summer Getaway") on June 15 at the Bonnaroo Music Festival. They ended 2003 with two New Year's dates at the Oakland Arena on December 30 and 31.

Dead Soul is a rock band, or, as they called themselves, "Dark Electronic Industrial Doom Blues band" from Linköping, Sweden. Their first album In the Darkness reached #49 on Swedish Toplist (Sverigetopplistan). [1] They have toured frequently with rock band Ghost throughout Sweden.
