Poetry (Korean: 시; Hanja: 詩; RR: Si) is a 2010 South Korean-French drama film written and directed by Lee Chang-dong. [2] It tells the story of a suburban woman in her 60s who begins to develop an interest in poetry while struggling with Alzheimer's disease and her irresponsible grandson.
Yoon resided in Paris, France with her family since her retirement in the mid-90s, [5] until making her comeback in Lee Chang-dong's Poetry. [7] Throughout her life, Yoon was a devout Roman Catholic, having been baptized in her junior high school years. [8] Yoon, who suffered from Alzheimer's disease, died on January 19, 2023, in Paris.
