I've made a post, uploaded photos and tagged 3 friends of mine into my post. The privacy of the post has been set to friends. Hovering with the mouse of the privacy icon of the post, it says it will be seen by my friends, the people tagged and the friends of the people tagged. The post however doesn't appear on their timeline.
I've just finished creating a free online tool that can quickly determine and display the mutual friends between not just two but multiple facebook users. You can visit it on https://seemutualfriendsonfacebook.com. It does require a bit of work beforehand. The tool needs to get the friend lists of the facebook users as csv files.

This is probably people who have deactivated their accounts. They are still your "Friends" although their account is not active. The reason for this is that When they re-activate their account, their friends are still connected. Otherwise they would have to re-add all of their friends.
