  2. 47 vs 45 - Glock Talk

    www.glocktalk.com/threads/47-vs-45.1992650

The 47 is really identical to a 17 (dust cover length and G5 innards are the only differences). Slide length and height on the 47 and the 17 are identical. The 45 is the same height as the 17 and just has the 19's shorter slide. The 47 came into being for the BP because it wanted to be able to swap a 19 slide on to a 17.

Glock 17 vs 45 (continuing to beat a dead horse) My only 9mm Glock is an early gen 5 19 that I’ve been concealed carrying for 2.5 years now and I absolutely love it. I’m tired of carrying my G19 during the day and coming home and putting a light, threaded barrel, and suppressor on (yeah yeah suppressor for home defense, I’ve heard all the ...

The 19X/45 gamechanger magic is hype, plain and simple. There’s really no appreciable difference between a 45 and a 17. I like both, but any major performance differences are more likely shooter related. All things equal, the G17 is still the best all-around Glock made. Supersquatch HiPowerRon Rocky7.

  5. Glock 45 MOS and Holosun sights

The first one I toyed with G45 M.O.S. w/ Holosun 507c-X2 ACSS red dot and TLR-7A high position light. I did get the C&H plate for the 507c to see if it made a difference over Glock M.O.S. plates that came with it and found the Glock plates were just right. For the K, C&H might be the answer.

The G45 is lesss likely to dig into seats or make the bonk noise, if you sit on a hard surface. The G45 offers some modularity options, with a G23.5; effectively giving you a G23X and a G19, if you so wish. It can’t be understood, on paper, but the balance and feel of the G45 is really a mark above the G17.

Glock Models-The most commonly-used variant is the Glock 21. Glock 20s can be converted to shoot SUPER as well, using the standard barrel / slide combinations for any other conversions.-A surprising amount of success has been found with the G30 (SF / Gen 4). Case support with aftermarket barrels matches the full-sized G21.

  8. Glock 45 factory milled acro

    www.glocktalk.com/threads/glock-45-factory-milled-acro.1995882

akpls. I have a G45 that was factory milled with an RMR footprint (MOS5). The cut came way oversized and left gaps on both ends when the sight was mounted. I picked up a plate from C&H that fills in the gaps and hardly changed the sight height at all. The bottom of the plate is very thin and exactly matches the bottom of the sight so requires ...

If you plan on pushing the ends of the envelope then heavy spring, guiderod, new barrel, comp or suppressor is needed. If you continue to push the ends, it will beat up your Glock. I am not sure what more to tell you. Oh, wait a minute. 1. If you are not a reloader, the 45 Super is not for you. 2.

This is a complete Glock 45 slide from a special edition Glock run known as the Talo edition. This comes from Glock with OEM Acro optic cut and an Acro P2 mounted from the factory. This is NOT an MOS slide! Slide is complete and has Ameriglo BUIS installed from the factory as well. This is a...

  11. G17 Gen 5 vs. G45 Gen 5 - Glock Talk

G45. Shorter slide means faster slide cycling, better holster options. You won’t notice the accuracy difference with less the width of your thumb in slide length. If you had been able to shoot and handle both guns I'd bet that you would prefer the G45 over the G17 for the way the G45 points and balances in your hands.
