  2. Question about excess polymer resin : r/SatisfactoryGame - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/.../comments/gypg6v/question_about_excess_polymer_resin

Question about excess polymer resin. So I have 4 refineries producing fuel and 120/min of polymer resin. I have 2 refineries turning that into residual plastic. The plastic is then constructed into canisters to package up some of the fuel. My problem: Once my storage containers fill up with packaged fuel, the machines’ buffers fill up and I ...

  3. Is alternate: polymer resin worth it? Need help checking my math.

    Difference (B - A) = 40 fuel/min+ 30 polymer resin/min + 11 refineries. 1 refinery consumes 40 MW = 2400 MJ/min. 11 refineries consume 26400 MJ/min. 1 fuel provides 600MJ. 40 fuel provide 24000 MJ. Therefore: Difference (B - A) = 30 polymer resin/min - 40 MW. If I'm not mistaken, it seems a good way to increase polymer resin with a minimal loss ...

Recycled Plastic/Rubber is the absolute bomb! I had never really looked into optimizing oil usage but I found this graphic from the wiki and set up a simple build with 3 inputs (heavy oil residue, polymer resin and water) with 10 refineries making fuel, 6 making rubber from resin and 6 each making rubber and plastic using the recycled recipes.

  5. Ultimate setup for fuel/plastic/rubber? : r/SatisfactoryGame -...

Heavy Oil Residue. Residue -> Diluted Fuel. Resin -> Rubber -> Recycled Plastic (-> Recyled Plastic) you get with this simple setup 1400 Fuel (17500MW) 200 Plastic 200 Rubber from one pure node. with a good setup you can even make it balances itself. Reply.

You should dedicate 4 Recycled Plastic Refineries (running at 83.333%) solely to recycle the Rubber from the Residual Rubber Refineries to avoid Polymer Resin backups. I would also suggest sending the output Plastic lines into final Smart Splitters that sends primary back to the Recycled Rubber (merge the two lines), and Overflow is sent as the ...

  7. High rate Plastic production : r/SatisfactoryGame - Reddit

In total it pulls 420 crude oil, but 120 of that is making Petroleum Coke and so only returns the Resin to the platforms. The main line only draws 300. This makes, in total: 602.5 rubber, of which 470 is pulled from the recycle line and 132.5 from processing Polymer Resin 60 Packaged Fuel

If instead you fill the system with containers and run it as a closed loop you can the siphon off the polymer resin but to make this consistent for downstream use of Polymer Resin you'll need additional refineries and an overflow to make more HOR than you need for anything less than 100% power usage and then you'll need HOR to Petroleum Coke ...

  9. Most Efficient Rubber Recipe? (Almost, over 99%)

Using the Recycled Rubber alternate recipe, which uses a 1:1 ratio of p & f, sink the overflow of 2.0833p, and combine 425p and 425f into a total of 850r. The reason I say ALMOST the most efficient rubber recipe is because there is a tiny tiny bit of leftover plastic, 2.0833/min when using a 600c/min node, but that is at the expense of a simple ...

  10. Polymer resin from fuel setup : r/SatisfactoryGame - Reddit

Ultimately, the best use for polymer resin is to feed as Residual Rubber into a Recycled Plastic + Recycled Rubber loop alongside Diluted Fuel. But for now, just sink it until you actually have a use for more. Depends. Usually one refinery for some fabric and sink the rest.

Then you use the 60 plastic with another 60 fuel to get 120 rubber using the recycled rubber recipe. 30 of this rubber goes back to the start to keep the loop going. So you get to keep 90 out of the 120 produced rubber. In the end you consumed 90 fuel to get 90 rubber out of this whole loop. You've converted fuel into rubber (or plastic, it ...
