John F. Kennedy High School is a public high school in San Antonio, Texas and classified as a 4A school by the University Interscholastic League. It was established in 1963 and is part of the Edgewood Independent School District. During 2022–2023, Kennedy High School had an enrollment of 1,042 students and a student to teacher ratio of 16.68. The district has one campus, Sarita Elementary School, which serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through six. Almost all of Kenedy County is within the KCWCSD service area. [ 1 ] As of 2001, of the nine Texas counties having only one school apiece, the population of Sarita Elementary School was the smallest.

The Kennedale High School Wildcat Band includes a marching band, a jazz band, a varsity wind ensemble, and two sub-varsity wind ensembles. The KHS Wildcat Marching Band qualified for every UIL state-wide championship for 14 years between 2006 and 2020, [ 6 ] [ 7 ] qualifying for finals between 2014 and 2020.
