Added to NRHP. October 11, 1979. The Douglas County Courthouse is located at 1701 Farnam Street in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Built in 1912, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Notable events at the courthouse include two lynchings and the city's first sit-in during the Civil Rights Movement.
The building contains both the Nebraska City Court and the Otoe County Court along with the government and law enforcement offices of both. The building sits at 1021 Central Avenue in Nebraska City. The courthouse is currently on the National Register of Historic Places and the oldest public building in the state of Nebraska.

A first courthouse was built in 1902. The current courthouse was constructed from February to October 1934. In addition to $50,000 raised by the county from tax levies, the courthouse was the first public building in Nebraska to be built using funds and workers from the Civil Works Administration and Federal Emergency Relief Administration.
Added to NRHP. March 5, 1981. The Webster County Courthouse is a "County Citadel" type courthouse with Second Renaissance Revival architecture that was built in 1914. It is one of ten Nebraska courthouses designed by William F. Gernandt. Its design is similar to Gernandt's for the Dawson County Courthouse, which was built during 1913–14.
