BMW S1000RR is a race oriented sport bike initially made by BMW Motorrad to compete in the 2009 Superbike World Championship, [1] that is now in commercial production. It was introduced in Munich in April 2008, [2] and is powered by a 999 cc (61.0 cu in) transverse inline four-cylinder engine redlined at 14,200 rpm.
To harness the power output, BMW gave the S1000R a package of electronics suite of rider aids, including ABS Pro (cornering ABS), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Dynamic Traction Control Wheelie Function, Shift Assistant Pro (which allows for clutch-less up and downshifts), Hill Start Control (HSC), Launch Control and Pit Lane Limiter.

The limited edition Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro was announced by MV Agusta in early November 2022. It is based on the Brutale 1000 RR and has a 998cc inline-Four engine with an updated second balance shaft that produces 208 hp at 13,000 rpm. Other features include electronic Öhlins suspension and carbon fibre bodywork.
