Kempinski Hotels S.A., commonly known as Kempinski, is a luxury hotel management company headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Founded in Berlin in 1897 as the Hotelbetriebs-Aktiengesellschaft , the group currently operates 77 five-star hotels and residences in 35 countries.
The town is known nowadays mainly for its regionally used shopping centre, the Isenburg-Zentrum (IZ), the Hugenottenhalle, the Hotel Kempinski Frankfurt, the Autokino Gravenbruch (the oldest drive-in cinema in Europe), the Sportpark, the Waldschwimmbad (swimming pool) and its location near Frankfurt Airport.

On 9 September 1999, it re-opened as a 106-room luxury hotel, the Kempinski Hotel Falkenstein Königstein Frankfurt, managed by Kempinski hotel. In 2001 The German Hotel and Restaurant Association awarded the hotel five stars. In January 2021, its management transferred from Kempinski to Marriott International's Autograph Collection division.
From 5 to 16 June 2006, on the occasion of the 2006 FIFA World Cup, the Brazil national team made its home at the Kempinski Hotel in Falkenstein, a five-star hotel originally built as an officers' retreat for Kaiser Wilhelm. The team trained at the "Altkönigblick" sport ground, 1. FC-TSG Königstein's usual facility.
