Rogers Township is one of twelve townships in Ford County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2020 census, its population was 381 and it contained 197 housing units. [ 1 ] It was formed as Grant Township from a portion of Stockton (Brenton) Township in September, 1863; its name was changed to Rogers Township on May 9, 1864.
Cook County has a modest amount of county roads after plans were made in 2009 to designate many roads on county ownership as a public service. [14] Only the designated streets in the townships of Lemont, Palos, Orland, Bremen, Lyons (south of the rivers) and Wheeling have the blue pentagon signs that are used to demarcate county roads.
Stickney Township is bordered on the north by Berwyn and Cicero townships, on the west by Lyons Township, and on the south by Worth Township.On the east, it is bordered by the Chicago communities of West Lawn and Ashburn, as well as portions of the Garfield Ridge and Clearing communities that separate Stickney Township's two regions.
