The San Diego Civic Theatre is a performing arts venue in downtown San Diego, California. It opened in 1965. [ 1 ] It is the performing home of the San Diego Opera and hosts other entertainment events such as concerts and musicals.
The company acquired the facility with a $30 million capital investment, and received an additional $14.5 million in funding through the city of Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico. [3] The studio, originally built in 2007 with a budget of around $91 million, was renamed following the acquisition.

The Lobo Theater first opened on August 19, 1938. By the early-1940’s it was operated by Paramount Pictures Inc. through their subsidiary Hoblitzelle & O'Donnell. The name Lobo ("Wolf" in Spanish) references the nickname for the sports teams, and students, at the University of New Mexico , which is nearly adjacent to the west.
The Segundo Romance Tour was a concert tour performed by Luis Miguel during the last part of 1994 to promote his last album. He began the tour in Mexico before the official release of Segundo Romance, performing the new songs of the album on the 16 sold-out concerts at the National Auditorium in Mexico City.
