The Pixie Hollow area within Mickey's Toontown Fair (at Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World Resort, Florida) closed in February 2011, as part of the park’s New Fantasyland expansion. A larger Pixie Hollow area was included in the original plans for the expansion, although these have since been abandoned. [5]

Tinker Bell makes a face at Pixie Hollow. In October 2008, two Pixie Hollow locations opened at Disney Parks. One opened at Disneyland near the Matterhorn Bobsleds in the area where Ariel's Grotto was formerly located and the other at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom in Mickey's Toontown. [17]
March 2010: Candystand partners with The Walt Disney Company to integrate Pixie Hollow, a virtual world based on the Disney Fairies and Tinker Bell, directly on the Candystand.com website. May 2010: In partnership with Trident gum, Candystand.com created and launched a new game titled Trident Layers Factory.
