Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 48 Lok Sabha (lower house of the Indian Parliament) constituencies in Maharashtra state in western India.This constituency was created on 19 February 2008 as a part of the implementation of the Presidential notification based on the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India constituted on 12 July 2002. The TDP won 135 out of the 144 seats it contested, JSP secured all 21 seats it contested and the BJP won 8 out of its 10 contested seats.
