Jack William Dykinga (born January 2, 1943) is an American photographer. [1] For 1970 work with the Chicago Sun-Times he won the annual Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography citing "dramatic and sensitive photographs at the Lincoln and Dixon State Schools for the Retarded in Illinois."

The Peace Museum was a museum located in Chicago, Illinois, that was founded in 1981 by muralist Mark Rogovin and Marjorie Craig Benton, a former US UNICEF representative. . Fujita's career as a photojournalist caused numerous media sensations. He became known not only in Chicago but nationally as well. Fujita was the only photographer to capture two of the century's biggest events: the aftermath of the St. Valentine's Day massacre and the sinking of the S.S. Eastland.
Born in 1922, Shay grew up in the Bronx and then served as a navigator in the U.S. Army Air Forces in World War II, during which he flew 52 bomber missions. [1] Shay joined the staff of Life magazine as a writer, and quickly became a Chicago-based freelance photographer for Life, Time, Sports Illustrated, and other national publications.
