Gateway Marketplace is an open-air shopping mall located within the city of Detroit, Michigan. The complex is located at the southeast corner of 8 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue , near the Michigan State Fair complex. The complex contains around forty inline tenants on its 35 acres (140,000 m 2).

Alfred Taubman, Fairlane Town Center opened on March 1, 1976.The mall is one of four super-regional Taubman malls built in the Detroit metro area in the 1970s, the other three being Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor (1973), Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights (1976) and Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi (1977).

Parisian opened its first Michigan location at the mall in August 1994. The store was part of a 150,000-square-foot (14,000 m 2) expansion that included additional mall space at the northern end.
