Richard Welton Morales Jr. [1] (born July 18, 1979), better known by his stage name Gunplay, is an American rapper from Carol City, Florida. He is best known for his association with fellow Florida-based rapper Rick Ross , with whom he formed the hip hop group Triple C's in 2005, along with rappers Torch and Young Breed.
The discography of American hip hop recording artist Gunplay, consists of two studio albums, three compilation albums (with Maybach Music Group), ten mixtapes, and eleven singles. He has also released and recorded music with Southern hip hop group, Triple C's .
Maybach Music Group (MMG) was launched in a joint venture and as an imprint of Ross' then-label, Def Jam Recordings in 2008. Along with Ross himself, the label signed its first two acts that same year; its first was the hip hop group of which Ross was a member, Triple C's (alongside Gunplay, Torch, and Young Breed), while its second, singer Masspike Miles was signed in November of that year.
