Keystone is a town in the Black Hills region of Pennington County, South Dakota, United States.The population was 240 at the 2020 census. Ponderosa pines are the most prominent vegetation in the Black Hills. As for bird species, turkeys, bluejays, woodpeckers, cliff swallows, chickadees, and golden or bald eagles are seen in the area.
