Cayuga Lake (/ k ə ˈ juː ɡ ə /, / k eɪ ˈ juː ɡ ə / or / k aɪ ˈ juː ɡ ə /) is the longest of central New York's glacial Finger Lakes, and is the second largest in surface area (marginally smaller than Seneca Lake) and second largest in volume. It is just under 39 miles (63 km) long.

Rogues' Harbor Inn, formerly known as the Elm Grove Inn and Central Exchange Hotel, is a historic inn and tavern located in Lansing, New York.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009 [1] and is located on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York, approximately eight miles from Ithaca.
At the same time, a trolley line leading to Cayuga Lake was constructed by the Cayuga Lake Electric Railway Company, later absorbed by Ithaca Street Railway, who also set about developing an amusement park near the lake. The group of properties became known as Renwick Park and opened to the public in 1894. [5]
Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge is a wildlife preserve operated by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, encompassing part of the Montezuma Swamp at the north end of Cayuga Lake. The 10,004-acre (40.48 km 2 ) preserve is composed of swamps, pools and channels and is a stopping point for migratory birds.
