The bathtub curve is a particular shape of a failure rate graph. This graph is used in reliability engineering and deterioration modeling. The 'bathtub' refers to the shape of a line that curves up at both ends, similar in shape to a bathtub. The bathtub curve has 3 regions: The first region has a decreasing failure rate due to early failures.

Recession shapes or recovery shapes are used by economists to describe different types of recessions and their subsequent recoveries. There is no specific academic theory or classification system for recession shapes; rather the terminology is used as an informal shorthand to characterize recessions and their recoveries. [1]

How can I watch Saltburn at home?. Amazon is finally giving us what we want because Saltburn is finally on our TV screens. The film is airing exclusively on Prime Video starting on December 22 ...
The curve shown is not good: a typical bathtub has a steep decrease in the left side (the side where the bathtub has the drain hole), a longer horizontal low portion and a smooth rise at the other side. Similar is the curve of the failure rate. I suggest to copy here the curve of the german or Esperanto version, which shows the affair better.--
