Magellan's Cross Pavilion is a stone kiosk in Cebu City, Philippines.The structure is situated on Plaza Sugbo beside the Basilica del Santo Niño. [1] It houses a Christian cross that was planted by explorers of the Spanish expedition of the first circumnavigation of the world, led by Ferdinand Magellan, upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on April 21, 1521.
In 2006, the Royal Canadian Mint produced a test token set as a way to commemorate Canada's second 25 cent coloured coin. The token set contains one twenty-five cent coin, and six test tokens. The tokens for the one cent to the twenty five cents are multi-ply plated while the token for the one and two dollar coins are composed of nickel.
Two of the coins were silver with a face value of $15 while the third coin was gold and had a face value of $175. The $15 coins were sold individually or in a set. The individual coins were packaged in a burgundy leatherette case while the set was featured in a wooden display case.
