Abay District (Kazakh: Абай ауданы, Abai audany) is a district of Karaganda Region in central Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the district is the town of Abay . [ 2 ] Population: 54,057 (2013 estimate); [ 3 ] 53,214 (2009 Census results); [ 4 ] 65,306 (1999 Census results).
Abay (Kazakh: Абай, Abai) is a town (since 1961) located in central Kazakhstan, and has served as the capital of Abay District in Karaganda Region since 2002. Population: 25,550 (2009 Census results); [ 2 ] 33,066 (1999 Census results).
In June 1965 Abhyudaya Co-operative Bank Ltd was finally established as a full-fledged co-operative Bank. [3] It was conferred with Scheduled bank status by the Reserve Bank of India in the year 1988. [3] On 11 January 2007 the Bank was registered as a multi-state co-operative bank by the Central Registrar, New Delhi. [2]
