What I've seen, was Trek and Specialized at Giant factory on Taiwan. But, as Specialized is owned by Merida (as far as I know more than 50%), they might have moved production do Merida factory. I also heard some SC were made by Giant. I guess these with fluid formed tubes.
Feb 23, 2002. #11. Thats quite expensive. It seems to me that the best deal would be to but the Giant, since it is only $200 more than the Norco, but you get the disc brakes that are worth about $300. Thanks a lot for your input, everyone! P.
Apr 22, 2013. #1. I have a giant warp ds2 and I love it. It is in need of a crankset and front forks. I figure while I'm at it I might as well rebuild everything. i have some ideas for parts, and my budget is around 500 bucks (spread out over the summer, I'm building a truck too). The first thing I want to get is the crankset so I can keep the ...
The Dh team, which I owned, is a single pivot with a linkage, similar in concept to a turner. The only thing that differentiates it from a plain old single pivot is a linkage that drives the shock and effects the shock rate. The axle path on any bike like the dh team is a forward arc. The Glory suspension is one of several thinly disguised ...
Hey, im just getting into urban freeride and dirt jumping and im breaking the **** out of my crappy shogun bike and i was wondering, out of the kona shred or the giant stp-2, which would you say is a better bike. Im not really sure because the giant seems to have some better components but is the dirt jam fork on the kona better than the exr ...
Nannup. May 16, 2010. #5. My experience is that I've had both a '07 Giant Alias and '08 STP 0. Both bikes are good bikes for the money but they are aimed at different styles of riding: Alias: Obviously an XC hardtail with XC geometry and build. It felt good to ride and easy to lift the front wheel with a short stem, easier than the STP.
That bike is at least 4-5+ years old. It went through a few minor changes but yeah, that's it. I rode one while I was in Japan quite a few years ago. At the time, that was about as nimble as you could get for DS riding and whatnot. This was before the Evil Imperial. But, the wacked out seat tube angle is the same concept.

Hello! I'm planning to move from my Qbike Empire to a Giant Glory 2010. I'm having serious problems choosing the size. I've noticed Giant changed M size to make it it a bit longer but I don't know if it would be enough for me. I'm 6'1" or 6'2", and I had the opportunity to check that the old M Glory is short for me even with a 55mm stem.
Bobs bike (a big e-bayer under a different name) carries titus, and they have a sweet deal on Giant trance frames, they have the 14.5" in stock at 699, which is a good deal. P.S. the electra bikes are really cool.
