New Covenant Ministries International (NCMI) is an international non-denominational Christian church network founded by Dudley Daniel in South Africa in the early 1980s, currently led by Tyrone Daniel, and active in about 100 countries. [1]
It is the only Classical Revival-style church in Valdosta and was designed by Atlanta architects James W. Butt (d. 1914) and Marshall F. Morris (d. 1921). The church's front facade, on Patterson Street, has a portico with six Corinthian columns, with dentils and modillions in its cornice and pediment, and decorative terra cotta in the tympanum.

In 1983 the Reformed Presbyterian Church, Evangelical Synod (RPCES) merged with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). A group of churches in the PCA's Georgia Presbytery later objected to the way the merged denomination made its decisions. These churches separated from the PCA and formed the Presbytery of the Covenant. [6]
