Pinoy Dream Academy (also known as PDA) is a Philippine television reality competition show broadcast by ABS-CBN.Originally hosted by Toni Gonzaga, Nikki Gil, Sam Milby, Bianca Gonzalez and Roxanne Barcelo. it aired on the network's weekend line-up from August 27, 2006 to October 5, 2008, replacing U Can Dance and was replaced by Kahit Isang Saglit and The Singing Bee.
The first season of Pinoy Dream Academy formally began on August 27, 2006, and ended on December 16 of the same year replacing U Can Dance. Nikki Gil was the main host of this season, while joining her in the Saturday Gala Nights were Bianca Gonzalez, Roxanne Barcelo, and Toni Gonzaga.
Pinoy Dream Academy is a Philippine television program similar to Big Brother.The second season began on June 14, 2008 replacing Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus and was replaced by Kahit Isang Saglit.
The pair split one week after being eliminated but seemed to rekindle their romance ahead of their reunion dance for the season 33 finale on Nov ... The reunion also meant more PDA-filled rehearsals.
The second season of Pinoy Dream Academy formally began on June 14, 2008. Nikki Gil and Toni Gonzaga reprise their roles as hosts of the show, but Gonzaga now handles the main hosting plum while Gil appears both on the Probation Nights and Little Dreamers Gala/Expulsion Night.
