[1] The Federal Route 1 was the backbone of the road system in the western states of Peninsular Malaysia before being supplanted by the North–South Expressway (E1 and E2).
The station is also near to the Cheras-Kajang Interchange at the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE). The elevated expressway is higher than the MRT track which is pretty high from the road. It was opened on 17 July 2017, along with 19 adjoining stations (from Muzium Negara to Kajang) as part of Phase 2 of the system.
