Donsol is a 2006 Filipino indie drama film written and directed by Adolfo Alix, Jr. about a romance made in the town of Donsol. Starring Sid Lucero and Angel Aquino, the film was produced by Bicycle Pictures. The film was shot entirely in Donsol, Sorsogon and there are underwater shots of the star of the movie the butanding (lit. ' whaleshark ').

Gordon Arthur Cyril "Butch" Stewart OJ CD (6 July 1941 – 4 January 2021) was a Jamaican hotelier and businessman. He was the founder, owner, and chairman of Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts, and their parent company Sandals Resorts International, as well as The ATL Group and its subsidiaries Appliance Traders and The Jamaica Observer.
This 1,150-room resort was in bankruptcy at the time. After acquiring the resort, Kerzner launched a re-development and expansion program. It transformed Paradise Island into a 2,300-room resort; that included one of the world's grandest artificial marine habitats and the Caribbean's biggest casino.
Don and Nancy Panoz founded Château Élan Winery & Resort in Braselton, Georgia, in 1992. At the time of Don's death in 2018 the couple still owned the resort, which has since grown to 3,500 acres (14 km 2). The Panozes sold a portion of their businesses to three partners in 2004. [4]

Soon after, he purchased a shuttered, eight-room riverfront motel on 6.5 acres (2.6 ha) for US$250,000. Though the landowner had several offers, he decided to sell the property to Laughlin because of his previous casino background.
