Hans Dieter Zingraff (born 1947 in Karlsruhe) is a German artist in constructivism. He was born in Karlsruhe, Germany in 1947 as the son of an electrical engineer . Zingraff showed an early interest in the arts, in particular in trompe-l'œil , the optical illusion technique.
In 1886, he was sent by the German Foreign Ministry to carry out the explorations in Kamerun.He ascended the Wouri River as far as the cataract of Jabassi. He also traced the course of the Old Calabar River into the country of the Banyang and established Batom station.
