Train services are operated by the State Railway of Thailand drivers until Nong Khai, before the train is operated by Lao National Railway drivers to the station. From 2009 to 2024, a shuttle train ran twice a day between Nong Khai railway station and Thanaleng station, [11] [12] with occasional services by the Eastern and Oriental Express.
