Artesia Township is one of twenty-six townships in Iroquois County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2020 census, its population was 854 and it contained 402 housing units. [1] Artesia Township formed from portions of Ash Grove and Loda townships sometime prior to 1921.

Buckley is located in southwestern Iroquois County at (40.597236, -88.037019 U.S. Route 45 passes through the village, leading north 8 miles (13 km) to Onarga and south 6 miles (10 km) to Loda . Interstate 57 passes 1 mile (2 km) west of Buckley, with access from Exit 272.
As of the 2020 census [1] there were 1,429 people, 690 households, and 508 families residing in the township. The population density was 36.58 inhabitants per square mile (14.12/km 2 ). There were 791 housing units at an average density of 20.25 per square mile (7.82/km 2 ).
Watseka is located near the center of Iroquois County, at the intersection of U.S. Route 24 and Illinois Route 1. The Iroquois River winds along the north side of the town and is joined by Sugar Creek on the west side of town.
