Government National College, Karachi is a college in Karachi, Pakistan. Government National College (Urdu: گورنمنٹ نیشنل کالج ، کراچی) is a college of Karachi being run under one roof, with all the three faculties of science, arts and commerce up to degree level being affiliated with the University of Karachi. Established as the Central Board of Revenue on 1 April 1924 through enactment of the "Central Board of Revenue Act, 1924".In 1944, the CBR was put under the Revenue Division with the Ministry of Finance until 1960, when on the recommendations of the "Administrative Reorganization Committee", the CBR was made into a division of the Ministry of Finance.
The college was taken under the supervision of the Government of Sindh in 1948 after the establishment of Pakistan. The current building of the college was constructed in 1967. [ 4 ] It was a co-educational institution till 1993 but then separated into two sections for girls and boys.
