Concord Police are investigating a shooting that took place on Salvio Street near Adobe in downtown Concord. The shooting was reported at about 12:05 this morning (Sunday). Police reported about 30 shell casings at the scene. So far, no injuries have been reported.

A worker at Canesa’s Sandwich shop on Main St. in Clayton was stabbed by a customer this afternoon, according to police. A suspect, who was identified by police as 45-year-old Peter Kerns, was taken into custody.
A 19-year-old former Home Depot employee is in custody after allegedly walking into the Concord Home Depot, stabbing an employee, then attempting to flee the scene, according to Concord Police. Police say at about 6:15 on Wednesday night, the suspect, identified as Concord resident Andrea Violeta Villa stabbed the employee multiple times.
