In Reservoir Dogs, what is Mr Pink? [SPOILERS] One of my favorite "indies" (if you can call it that), Reservoir Dogs introduces an ensemble of thieves referred to by a color- Mr Blue, Mr Blonde, Mr Brown, etc. Most interesting to me though is the character played by Steve Buscemi, Mr Pink. I find him to be an impossible and unbelievable ...

Mr. Pink (or "Romero" as he now called himself) used his considerable wealth to pursue his dreams of becoming a scientist, and ended up genetically mutating several creatures into patchy hybrids. In a bizarre turn of fate, however, his creations began to resent him, and he was forced to hide inside of a shack in the middle of the island.

Holyorange1. ADMIN MOD. Did (Spoiler) survive or die in Reservoir Dogs? Question. So I just watched Reservoir Dogs for the first time (great film btw) and it ends with everyone dying except Mr. Pink, who escapes with the diamonds. But while Mr. White and Mr. Orange are on the floor, it sounds like a shootout or something big is happening outside.

Joe: No way, no way. Tried it once, doesn't work. You got four guys all fighting over who's gonna be Mr. Black, but they don't know each other, so nobody wants to back down. No way. I pick. You're Mr. Pink. Be thankful you're not Mr. Yellow. Mr. Brown: Yeah, but Mr. Brown is a little too close to Mr. Shit.

This is best just done as a numbered list. But the scene of Mr. Pink's escape is a very important linchpin here. Of the 4 color-guys who get significant screentime, Mr. Pink is the only one whose name we don't find out. He sticks very, very hard to the need for professional anonymity - harder than anyone else on the crew.

Carl Showalter, professional kidnapper in Fargo played by Steve Buscemi, is actually the continuation of Buscemi's character Mr. Pink in Reservoir Dog. It is strongly hinted in "Reservior Dogs" that Mr. Pink, who's real name is never revealed, is the only one of the crooks to get away.
