Mr. Pink (or "Romero" as he now called himself) used his considerable wealth to pursue his dreams of becoming a scientist, and ended up genetically mutating several creatures into patchy hybrids. In a bizarre turn of fate, however, his creations began to resent him, and he was forced to hide inside of a shack in the middle of the island.
